In 2008, Dmitri D’Alessandro took the helm of the art framing shop, stepping into ownership with a vision to continue its legacy rather than simply sell it. Raised in Middletown and Higganum, Connecticut, Dmitri’s journey into the world of art began during his college years, where he studied computer science and graphic design. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for digital artistry.
Dmitri’s interest in framing blossomed after he framed his first art show in Middletown shortly after graduating. This experience opened his eyes to the essential role that custom framing plays in enhancing and showcasing beautiful artwork. As he curated art shows at various local galleries, he recognized a growing demand for tailored framing solutions that truly complement artistic expressions.When the opportunity arose to purchase Middletown Framing, Dmitri knew it was the perfect intersection of his artistic pursuits and entrepreneurial spirit.
